The striking contrast
that
Paris
produces is its permanent quest for modernity coupled with its will to
preserve the remains of the past contributes to the singularity of this
cosmopolitan city.
Paris is a city in perpetual motion. A
destination that lends a richness of emotion to discover or rediscover
without moderation!
Taking place at the
beginning of January in Paris and Ile de France, this Festival inaugurates
the new musical season with a series of concerts in churches, concert
halls and other institutions while creating opportunities for French and
foreign choirs to meet and fraternize.
The highlight of this
festival is without any doubt the closing ceremony, a Gala Evening at the
UNESCO conference hall, the incontestable symbol of tolerance and harmony
uniting the singers of all the choirs for one spectacular concert event.
All of the nations participating in the Festival will be represented.
After the concert there is a cocktail for all participants in the UNESCO
building - one more possibility to meet singers from all over
Europe and to hear their songs. This final
collaborative event represents a rare moment of emotion in all the
hearts.
