Introduction:

Istria was and is again one of the most popular vacation regions in the Mediterranean. History, culture and sun are combined here to produce a relaxing and interesting holiday.  One of the oldest cities which is also well known outside the country is Pula with its famous Romanic Amphitheatre, one of the greatest of its time. Pula has a concentrated history and is a wonderful venue for a choir exchange and is held at the most beautiful time of the year.  During your stay, relax with a boat trip around the numerous islands and islets, explore ancient architecture and soak up the Balkan atmosphere. You can combine this festival with a stay in Venice or Trieste or you can visit some other famous towns of Croatia like Zadar and Dubrovnik.

Concert Halls & Venues:

The Open air concerts of the festival are held at the Golden Gate a large architectural feature from Roman times.  A large and enthusiatic audience is sure to gather and appreciate your performance in this popular touristic and local venue.

Farewell Concert and Dinner:

The final common concert of all choirs will bring together singers from many different countries for a chance to hear your foreign choral companions.   The final dinner will also give you a chance to mingle with these new found friends and share experiences both new and old.
